Over the coming months the site will be developed into a valuable information resource for all anglers wishing to fish in this beautiful region of South Western France.

As well as giving information we shall be offering accommodation to fishermen and fisherwomen, holiday makers and house hunters here in Department 87, The Haute-Vienne.

The accommodation will consist of two gites, just half a kilometre apart in the same commune. One gite is already well established in the village. Tony and Sue run "Le Petit Verger" - for details please visit our sister site www.flyfishinginfrance.com

Margaret and Keith will soon be running "La Vue", a two bedroomed gite sleeping up to 4 people with exceptional views across the rolling hills of the Limousin. This site will be updated continually as progress is made, please bookmark us and visit again, thank you. Having two gites we will be able to offer accommodation for groups of up to 6 people.

In 2008 we will be able to offer our guests tackle hire, both fly and coarse, for a nominal weekly fee in addition to fly casting tuition with one of the few UK qualified Fly-casting instructors in France. Tony holds the STANIC (Trout) Qualification.

Visiting anglers will be provided with maps, or Sat Nav to guide them to various fishing venues, bait, all local information, and details of permits etc. We have built up some excellent relationships with local fishery owners, who have some superb lakes to fish. Equally, rivers holding carp, pike, perch, zander and other species are not far away.

For holiday makers, there are walks, horse riding, chateaux to visit, Limoges-famous for its pottery, French markets, superb local restaurants, lovely towns to wander around and supermarkets are a mere 4 kilometres drive from our base here in the village of Champagnac-La-Rivière which has its own bar/café and bakers. We are only 25 mins drive from Limoges Airport with regular flights from many UK airports.

Those of you who wish to visit the region to look for a new home will be well catered for as Tony and Sue moved here in 2004 and Margaret and Keith arrived this year. Between us we have a wealth of knowledge which we can pass on to you. We have contacts with many local estate agents and have helped many of our guests find their French Dream.
